Our passenger and light truck stacking racks are used for stacked storage of all types of passenger and light truck tires. This versatile modular warehousing solution is the most popular storage system in the United States. In addition, this modular rack system is used to meet a number of other stack rack warehousing requirements.
Storage of passenger and light truck tires
The 60” x 60” deck is optimized to take four or five stacks of 7 to 8 tires, depending on the tire diameter. For tires 16” and under, 5 stacks can be stored per pallet and for tires 17” and over, 4 stacks per pallet. This is one of the most economical tire storage systems, particularly in terms of initial outlay.
Removable tire rack posts
The passenger and light truck stacking rack is equipped with removable corner posts. Removing the posts does not lessen the strength and rigidity of the rack, and it can reduce shipping costs and clear more space in the tire warehouse in slower periods. The 60-inch posts fit into special custom-made sockets. With the posts removed and laid flat between each pallet frame, 20 pallets can be stacked. (Photo C). Many tire warehouses and distribution centres use the pallets next to receiving platforms to facilitate fast tire removal from semi trailers. This reduces handling steps, saving time and money.
Portable tire rack
The passenger and light truck stacking rack is a modular rack designed to be transportable. This feature offers considerable advantages over tire shelving. It allows for safe storage (approved by Workers’ Health & Safety) up to 25 feet high with no need for costly mezzanines or elevator systems. The racks can be easily stacked and moved with a fork lift: 2 at a time when loaded with tires and 10 at a time when the racks are unloaded and dismantled. In addition, these modular transportable racks increase your flexibility as they allow you to reorganize your warehousing quickly and easily. They can be moved from all four sides with a fork lift or pallet truck.
Tire rack construction
The racks are made of 2” x 2” tubes for the outer frame and posts, and 2” x 1” tubes on the inner frame. They are finished with baked powder coating.

All our tire equipment, shop equipment, tire machinery, tire displays and tire racking are covered by a 1-year warranty.

In some cases, decking may be added to the bottom as a safety feature or to store other materials. Wire mesh decking can be used for this purpose.
