72'' Passenger & Light Truck Stacking Racks (#MSR-7272)
Product number : MSR-7272
Our passenger and light truck stacking racks are used for stacked storage of all types of passenger and light truck tires. This versatile modular warehousing solution is becoming the most popular storage system in North America. Its large storage capacity per rack as well as its wire mesh deck and its fork guides meet the specific needs of many of our customers.
The 72” x 72” deck is optimized to take 6 to 9 stacks of 7 or 8 tires each, depending on the tire diameter. For tires 16” and under, 9 stacks can be stored per pallet and for tires 17” and over, 6 stacks per pallet. Your employees will handle an average of 60 tires per rack, at times 2 racks at a time (stacked) for a total of 120 tires per trip, in addition to storing more than 8 tires per square foot. As a result, this rack model is one of the most economical tire handling systems.

Rack construction
The MSR-7272 tire stacking rack has a wire mesh deck, allowing your employees to move safely around on the rack and allowing sprinkler water to flow down to the lowest level in the event of fire. In addition, fork guides are fitted on 2 sides of the pallet enabling more secure forklift handling. Pallets that exceed 60” in depth require fork guides to prevent the rack from tipping in the event of sudden movements.
Removable posts
The 72” x 72” stacking rack is equipped with removable corner posts. Removing the posts does not lessen the structural strength of the pallet, and it can reduce shipping costs and save space in the tire warehouse in slower periods such as off seasons. The 72” posts fit into special custom-made sockets. With the posts removed and laid flat between each pallet frame, 20 pallets can be stacked (see photo C). Many tire warehouses and distribution centres use the pallets next to receiving platforms to facilitate fast tire removal from trailers or containers with a full load of tires. This reduces handling steps, saving time and money.
Portable rack
The passenger and light truck stacking rack is a modular rack designed to be transportable. This feature offers considerable advantages over tire shelving. It allows for safe storage up to 30 feet high with no need for expensive mezzanines or elevator systems. The racks can be easily stacked and moved with a fork lift: 2 at a time when loaded with tires and 10 at a time when the racks are unloaded and dismantled. In addition, these modular transportable racks increase your flexibility as they allow you to reorganize your warehousing quickly and easily. They can be moved from all four sides with a fork lift or pallet truck.

Stacking post
Targets on the post ends facilitate high stacking, making it easier for the forklift operator to place the 5th tire rack at the top.
Fork straps
The steel mesh decking is safer for your employees and also stabilizes the tires when moving.
wire mesh decking
Fork guides on 2 sides prevent the rack from tipping, given its 72” depth compared to standard 48” forks.
