Martins Industries' Heavy-Duty Inflation Cage to Keep your Employees Safe!
The heavy duty tire inflation cage is used for to inflate tires for trucks, military vehicles, tractors and aircrafts. This truly heavy-duty inflation cage is manufactured in our Canadian plant using steel that meets the toughest standards in North America. The MIC-AUHD78 is specially equipped with an automatic tire inflator to make the cage even safer. You can inflate up to 195PSI with the High Pressure Inflator and 150PSI with the standard inflator. The inflation cage is also equipped with two heavy duty handles to make the cage secure.
Tire Inflation Cage Mandatory Use
Having a safety cage to inflate tires is mandatory. Martins Industries inflation cages provide good protection and exceed U.S. federal OSHA Standard 29 CFR, 1910.177. Before using the tire inflation cage, please carefully read the instructions on the cage. Centre the tire vertically in the cage. Select the desired air pressure on the automatic tire inflator. Position the air hose where indicated on the cage ''Place air hose here'' and attach the air chuck to the valve. Close the doors properly to activate the automatic tire inflator. Finally, stand back approximately 10 feet or 3 meters out of the path of the tire and rim.

All welds on our tire inflation cages meet CSA Standard W47.1. The cages are finished with powder coating baked at 400˚F for superior durability and quality.

Warranty
All our tire equipment, shop equipment, tire machinery, tire displays and tire racking are covered by a 1-year warranty.
Security system
The MIC-AUHD78 is equipped, on both of its doors, of a security system that activates or deactivates the inflation of tires. If one of the doors is open the automatic tire inflator will not be activated. You must close the 2 doors properly in order to inflate.
Safety instruction / inflator
The MIC-AUHD78 is equipped of an automatic tire inflator to make the cage even safer. The instructions are also provided with the warnings on the top and bottom of the inflator. Instructions must be followed to proceed safely.
Air & electricity
Martins Industries heavy duty inflation cage is equipped with an air hose and a wire. Just plug them in and inflate!

Most employers do provide their employees with safety cages for inflating heavy truck tires. The problem is that most workers never, or almost never, use them.Over the past few months, I’ve been in many tire shops and most were equipped with safety inflation cages, but they were usually covered in dust or piled up with boxes or tools, pretty much like a storage shelf or a coat hanger!
