The heavy-duty truck tire folding rack is specially designed to hold tires for trucks and other heavy vehicles. This tire rack will store tires up to 44” in outside diameter. Whether for truck tires, bus tires, farm vehicle tires or other heavy machine tires, this heavy-duty tire rack can take 8 to 10 tires standing on their treads.

This tire rack has the same features as the passenger & light truck tire rack; it is a fold-down, stackable modular unit. It can be stacked 4 high with a forklift, occupying up to 21.5’ of vertical space in your tire warehouse. Its steel construction can take 3,500 lbs on each of the 4 stacked racks.

The heavy-duty truck tire folding rack is very similar to the truck tire folding rack except for the ramps along each side. These drop-down steel plates serve as ramps to facilitate loading and unloading of large tires that are often very heavy. The ramps speed up the job and reduce back injuries. The steel plates also serve as a securing system when raised. Perfect for shipping, this system holds the tires in place despite bumps and shakes.
 

Like most racks manufactured at Martins Industries, the heavy-duty truck tire folding rack is a modular unit and can be easily moved around. This allows you to reorganize your warehouse, speed up tire order loading and unloading and move tires around in large numbers. Two tire racks can be moved at once using a forklift.
 

Measuring 96” in length, this rack fits perfectly into a trailer for shipping. In order to make full use of the height in a standard trailer, 2 open racks can be stacked, for a height of 103”. As a result, a 53” trailer can take 28 racks (14 deep and 2 high) for a total of 224 to 280 heavy truck tires. Empty racks can be easily folded down and stacked up to 22 high for the return trip. In addition, the side ramps will secure the tires through rough rides.
 

The heavy-duty truck tire folding rack has been specially designed for tires used in military and aerospace vehicles. This extremely strong rack has a heavier load limit – 3,500 lbs – than regular tire racks. The side ramp is particularly useful for the very heavy tires used in these fields.

Tire rack construction

The leg wrappers mounted in each corner allow a single employee to easily fold the tire rack. Fork guides on all four sides are a useful feature for preventing the rack from shifting during forklift handling. Tapered lugs facilitate stacking.
