Technical specification sheet
The tire cart reduces handling, reduces the number of trips and prevents work stoppages and some workplace accidents, particularly back injuries. As tires get larger and heavier, this will be a greatly appreciated working tool among your employees.

Tire cart capacity

The tire cart carries passenger and light truck tires from 12” to 35” in diameter and can move 8 to 10 tires at a time. The cart’s width over all is 28⅜” when closed.

Tire cart operation

A foot pedal opens the cart arms. The tire cart is then slid under the stack of tires and tipped back in the same way as a mover’s hand truck. A single gas cylinder closes the cart arms around the tire stack. The tires sit securely in the cart for a safe and easy move.

Tire cart uses

This is the ideal cart for tire warehouses and tire distribution centres where trucks and vans are loaded and unloaded with tires or where tires are moved over long distances. The tire cart is also popular in tire shops that handle many tires on a daily basis. For example, an auto shop specializing in tire changes uses 45 minutes of its time morning and evening moving tires between the back warehouse and the shop area. A tire cart will reduce that time, possibly enough to do 1 or 2 more vehicles per day.

Tire cart construction

The tire cart uses stronger and more durable 50-psi wheels. This means the inflated wheels are not as compressed under heavy tire loads. Red powder-coated finish. The user need only assemble the 2 arms and 4 bolts with an Allen key. The 2 wheels, gas cylinder and arm caps are replaceable.

Warranty

All our tire equipment, shop equipment, tire machinery, tire displays and tire racking are covered by a 1-year warranty.

Wheels

Wheels on the tire cart
The 2 rugged tires are inflated to 50 psi, allowing them to carry the weight of the tires without being overly compressed during handling.

Arms operation

Simple system to open arms
The arms open easily using a foot pedal located behind the cart and closure is operated by a gas cylinder.
