This tire rack, called the heavy truck rack, is designed specifically for heavy truck, bus and OTR tires. The heavy truck rack can hold tires measuring up to 44” in outside diameter. Whether for truck tires, bus tires, farm tires or other heavy-duty machine tires, the heavy truck rack can accommodate 8 to 10 tires on their treads.
This tire rack has the same features as the passenger & light truck folding rack. It is modular, foldable and stackable and can be stacked 4 high using a forklift, for a height of 21.5 feet in your tire warehouse. Its steel construction provides a load capacity of 2,500 lbs on each of the 4 stacked racks.

Flexible tire rack use
Like most racks manufactured at Martins Industries, this tire rack is a modular unit and can be easily moved around. This allows you to reorganize your warehouse, speed up tire order loading and unloading and move tires around the warehouse in large numbers. Two racks can be moved at once using a forklift.
Tire rack concieved for shipping
Measuring 92” in length, this rack fits perfectly into a trailer for shipping. In order to make full use of the height in a standard trailer, 2 open racks can be stacked, for a height of 103”. As a result, a 53” trailer can take 28 racks (14 deep and 2 high) for a total of 224 to 280 heavy truck tires. In addition, since the racks are easily folded down, they can be folded and stacked 22 high for return shipping.
Tire rack construction
The leg wrappers mounted in each corner allow a single employee to easily fold the tire rack. Fork guides on all four sides are a useful feature for preventing the rack from shifting during forklift handling. Tapered lugs facilitate stacking.

Tire seating
The tubes at the bottom of the tire rack are angled, allowing the tires to sit properly without showing marks.
Fold-down system
A set of leg wrappers allows the tire rack to be folded quickly by a single employee. These sturdy, tested leg wrappers are entirely safe.
Remobale bars
The removable bar in the bottom helps strengthen the 3rd loading side.
