The heavy truck picking cage offers a safe way to assemble orders. Designed to be moved with a picker lift, this cage, approved for workplace health and safety, provides employees with a hazard-free working environment. A simple mechanism enables the gates along the sides to be raised in two sections (see photo C). When the gates are up, a ramp lowers to provide easy access to the tires (see photo Loading Ramp). For smaller tires, we also offer an equivalent to the heavy truck picking cage, the light truck picking cage (MOPC-LT).
Tire picking cage use
The heavy truck picking cage is specially designed to hold tires for trucks, buses, OTR and other heavy vehicles. It is much safer than homemade racks that are often uncertified and helps to avoid extra insurance premiums, health & safety fines and above all, workplace accidents. The employee only has to lift one side or the other of the cage then roll the desired tires in and finally close the rampes to keep the tires and the employee safe. It is easy to open or close it can be by to ramps or only one ramp and by pushing down with your foot.
Tire picking cage construction
The base consists of a non-skid steel plate that enables the tire to be set on its tread without extra effort. The cage is also equipped with two deckings to prevent tires from rolling out. Each end of the tire cage is equipped with a latch system that is specially adapted to work with most picker lifts. The heavy truck picking cage is finished with a baked powder coating that ensures a longer service life.Warranty

Locking device
A locking device makes sure that the tires and the person inside the cage don't fall.
lift guides
The heavy truck picking cage has a reinforced base with a folding plate that holds the heavy truck tires in place. In addition, the cage is equipped with lift guides and a wooden block.
